25 year-old Joy-Ann Biscette Crowned Miss Saint Lucia Universe 2011 - She will represent Saint Lucia in Miss Universe 2011 pageant

Joy-Ann Biscette Crowned Miss Saint Lucia Universe 2011

25 year old Joy-Ann Biscette from Castries was crowned as the new Miss Saint Lucia Universe 2011 during a beauty contest held on June 11 at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort in Gros Islet.

Joy-Ann Biscette was a contestant in Miss World 2008 and she will now represent Saint Lucia in Miss Universe 2011 beauty pageant to be held on September 12 in São Paulo, Brazil.

While Patrice Lionel was the 1st run-up and Katrina Scheper was the 2nd run-up.

Tania Bambaci crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2011 - She will represent Italy in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6, 2011

Beauty Queen from Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Tania Bambaci was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2011 at the Area Blue Salento in Gallipoli.

Tania Bambaci is 21 year and stands 1.83m. She will represent Italy in Miss World 2011 in London, England on November 6.

While Ilenia Neri and Erica Tiburzi finished second and third, respectively.

25-year-old Alexandrya Evans was crowned Miss USVI Universe 2011 - She will represent USVI in Miss Universe 2011 pageant

25-year-old Alexandrya Evans was crowned Miss USVI Universe 2011

She will represent USVI in Miss Universe 2011 pageant.

1st Runner-up was Abiola Hodge while Esonica Veira was the 2nd Runner-up.

22 year-old Rafaela Butareli was crowned Miss Sao Paulo Universe 2011

Road to Miss Brazil Universe 2011

Representing the city of Marília, 22-year old model Rafaela Butareli was crowned Miss Sao Paulo Universe 2011 during an event held at the América Latina Memorial in Sao Paulo.

The 1.78 m beauty who is a nursing student, was elected one of the 10 semifinalists by votes emmited through sms and internet. The 1st runner-up was Araraquara (Mariana Silvestre)and the 2nd runner-up was Mairipora (Nathalia Bernardes).

Butareli will now compete in the Miss Brazil Universe pageant to be held on 23rd July. The winner will be the host contestant during the Miss Universe 2011 finals to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil in September.

Sara Elkhouly was crowned Miss Mediterranean 2011 - 1st runner-up is Miss Mecedonia and 2nd runner-up is Miss Lebanon

The Miss Mediterranean 2011 pageant took place last night in Nicosia, Cyprus. Fifteen countries participated in the pageant. The Top 8 finalistas were: Macedonia, Russia, Bulgaria, Lebanon, Albania, Cyprus, Slovenia, and Egypt.

Miss Mediterranean 2011 is Miss Egypt, Sara Elkhouly, 1st runner-up is Miss Mecedonia and 2nd runner-up is Miss Lebanon.

St. Croix native Alexandrya Evans was crowned Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2011 at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort in St. Thomas. She will represent the United States Virgin Islands in Miss Universe 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil next September. Abiola Hodge and Esonica Veira finished second and third, respectively.

Eighteen year-old Ratsimiahotrarivo Miando has been crowned Miss Madagascar 2011. The title gave her the opportunity to compete at the 11th Miss Earth pageant this December in Pattaya, Thailand.

Estefani Chalco from Ecuador was crowned Miss Latin America in the World 2011

Estefani Chalco is the first woman from Ecuador to be crowned Miss Latin America in the World 2011 in 27 years of the pageant’s history. The event took place in the Dominican Republic, with 30 participant countries.

Andrea Sandoval, Miss Venezuela, was the 1st runner-up; Cintya Regert, Miss Brazil, was the 2nd runner-up; Joanna Diaz, Miss Colombia, was the 3rd runner-up; and finally, Yaneth Garcia, Miss Mexico, was the 4th runner-up.

The semifinalists were the representatives of Guatemala, Portugal, Bolivia, Spain, Uruguay, Philippines and the Dominican Republic.

Tenzin Yangki was crowned Miss Tibet 2011

Tenzin Yangki, 19, was crowned the new Miss Tibet 2011 late Sunday evening in Dharamasala, India, during an outdoor ceremony in front of 1,000 spectators. Tenzin is a student living in Zurich, Switzerland.
