Unemployment Rate To Rise

BOA to cut 30,000 jobs.

There's been word that the jobs will be cut in the U.S., but there is not confirmation of that today. The announcement simply refers to "layoffs," with no mention of whether it's globally or not.

Just in time for Barry to run on some more great economic numbers..

New BAC Phase II is scheduled to begin in October and continue through March 2012, and cover those businesses and operations that were not reviewed in Phase I.

We took an informal survey in our office and asked people what they thought the president’s statement meant. Everyone agreed he was claiming the biggest tax cut in terms of dollars.

Imagine our surprise when the White House responded that he wasn’t talking about dollars at all.

…in less than three years in office, Obama has driven up the national debt by $4 trillion himself.

According to Treasury Department figures the national debt was $10.62 trillion ($10,626,877,048,913.08) when Obama took office on January 20, 2009. As of August 22, 2011, the most recent date for which data are available, the national debt stood at $14.6 trillion ($14,612,435,498,338.62) and rising.

When Bush entered the presidency in January 2001, the national debt was $5.72 trillion ($5,727,776,738,304.64).

Due to the recent debt-ceiling deal, the national debt under Obama will exceed the current $14.6 trillion level, running up more debt in three years than his predecessor Bush accumulated in eight years.

We are long past the time to fix Barry's mess. I hope there is still time.

The White House issued an executive order on Thursday titled “Establishing a Coordinated Government-wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.” The purpose of the order is “to promote the federal workplace as a model of equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion.” In other words, it would be better for the government if public-spirited white workers sought employment elsewhere. Lost amid all the politically correct box-checking is the principle that the most qualified person should be hired for a job.
