Good work you SOB'S!House Republicans plan to move on legislation in the coming weeks to block a proposed rule by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that will speed up union elections.
The proposal, backed by labor but heavily criticized by business groups, was tagged as one of the 10 most harmful regulations proposed by the Obama administration in a memo sent by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) to House Republicans this week.
“The hope is to move forward in the coming weeks with a proposal that will rein in the NLRB, and protect employers’ right to free speech and workers’ ability to make a fully-informed decision in a union election,” a House Republican aide told The Hill.
Hoffa will love this...
Translation: They need a bailout too!The U.S. Postal Service posted a net loss of $3.1 billion in its third quarter and warned again it would default on payments to the federal government if Congress did not step in.
The mail carrier, which does not get taxpayer funds, has struggled to overhaul its business as mail volumes fall. It has said personnel costs weigh heavily and is facing a massive retiree health benefit prepayment next month.
"Without changes in the law, the Postal Service will be unable to make the $5.5 billion mandated prepayment due in September."
Massive retiree health benefits? Those wouldn't be for public service UNION benefits would they?Don't get me wrong, I am not against unions, but how does one continue to make promises that cannot be kept?Oh, that's right...Its the Government!
As I see it 7% of America is full blown fruitloops...Just 7% rate the U.S. economy as good or excellent while 63% say it’s in poor shape
That 7% must be the unions that received the trillion dollar vote buying stimulus handout...
